Malda Division - Personnel Department

• The Personnel Department of Malda Division deals with Establishment and Pay bill works off all departments except Group 'C' (other than supervisory & ministerial staff) & Group 'D' staff of Engineering Department and except Group 'D' staff of S&T department. This department disposes cases of settlement payment of various ground.
• Strength of Officers of Personnel Department
  The department has 4 Personnel Officers at present with Sr. DPO (Senior Divisional Personnel Officer) as the head and he is being assisted by three APOs (Assistant Personnel Officers). Hierarchical assignment of the duties as under:

• The department also looks after the welfare aspects of the staffs. A team consisting of 07 WIs manages the Welfare activities under excellent guidance of Sr. Divisional Personnel Officer.

  vi)	Bharat Scouts and Guides, Eastern Railway	Malda District consists of two local association at Sahibganj & at Malda. Total No. of Scouts & Guides, Cubs, Bulbuls, Rovers, Rangers and adult leaders are 831.
  vii)	Sports	Various Sports activitis are organised in Malda Division under the banner of DSA (Divl. Sports Association). There are two Stadiums are there at Malda, one Indoor Stadium and another Outdoor Stadium. Football team of Malda Divn. participates in various competition at Dist. Level.
  viii)	Cultural Activities	Under the banner of DCA (Divl. Cultural Association) vrious cultural programmes are organised at Malda Division in Railway Institute, Officers Club. In thea last year Malda Divn. successfully organised Inter Railway Cultural Competition (Final) where all Divns. and workshops of Eastern Railway participated.
  ix)	ERWWO	Eastern Railway Women's Welfare Organisation / Malda has a glorious record of philanthropic activities. This organisation extends help to the needy people (Rly./Non-Railway), distribute stipend to the meritorious students. This organisation is also running a School for the children of Rly. colony and circulating area.
