Malda Division - Commercial Department

• The Division has 53 Block stations, 2 BCI operated Flag Stations and 36 Contractor-operated Halt Stations. The class-wise distribution of the stations is as under:
  
  

  "A" Category	3 Stations - Malda Town (MLDT), Bhagalpur (BGP) & Jamalpur (JMP)
  "B" Category	1 Station - New Farakka (NFK)
  "D" Category	6 Stations - Barharwa (BHW), Sahibganj (SBG), Pirpainti (PPT), Kahalgaon (CLG), Sultanganj (SGG) & Bariarpur (BUP)
  "E" Category	45 Stations - All remaining stations
  "F" Category	36 Stations - All Halt Stations

  
  
• Unreserved Ticketing System
  Unreserved Ticketing System (UTS) has been provided at Malda Town, New Farakka, Barharwa, Sahibganj, Pirpainti, Kahalgaon, Bhagalpur, Sultanganj, Jamalpur, Bariarpur and Abhaipur. UTS has also been commissioned at Dhulianganga and Jangipur Road.
• Catering Units
  The Division has three Catering units functioning at Malda Town, Bhagalpur and Jamalpur under IRCTC.
  
  Private vending stalls have been provided at Malda Town, Dhulianganga, Sankopara Haly, Nimtita, Sujnipara, Manigram, Jangipur Road, Barharwa, Tinpahari, Taljhari, Kahalgaon, Ghoga and Bhagalpur.
